At Temple Tiferet Shalom, we come together for worship, for study, and for fellowship. Our Temple is a place where friendships happen easily and naturally in the context of sharing meaningful experiences and fun times. And we are always looking to make new friends! We offer several community-oriented social groups, including Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Temple Teens, and Chai Society (for seniors), so there is always a place for everyone.

Our Temple is committed to fostering an inclusive community that welcomes Jews, their partners, and their families from diverse backgrounds. We embrace the notion that we are entered into a covenant with our fellow members to support and enhance their experience. Our congregation fulfills the mitzvah of tikkun olam (repairing the world) through acts of lovingkindness on a personal level, and through support of social justice initiatives that affect our society and the world at large.

Through tzedakah, advocacy, and prayer, our congregation demonstrates and strengthens our commitment to the State of Israel and to the Jewish people in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Interfaith Families at TTS

The clergy and membership of Temple Tiferet Shalom welcome and value our non-Jewish members. We have a tradition of inclusivity of those committed to learning about and participating in Jewish spirituality and practices in all aspects of synagogue life. We cherish the contributions of members of all faiths in our prayer, our family lives, and in our temple governance, and we honor their roles in raising our children with a Jewish identity. We make certain that all of our members have the opportunity for ongoing education to make their participation in our community as rich and fulfilling as possible.
